Reed was a graduate student in the Department of Communication at MSU. Reed came to MSU with a background in journalism. His research interests revolve around the interplay between network structures, linguistic features, and persuasion in online communication, particularly within health contexts. He now works as a data analyst for a health communication consulting firm.
